Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ’s
Can you shoot in-studio and on-location?
Absolutely. I offer both in-studio sessions and on-location photography. My studio is ideal for professional headshots, portraits, and controlled lighting setups. For a more natural or storytelling feel, I can meet you at your chosen location, whether that is at your office, home, or a park. Many clients love combining more than one location to give themselves variety.
Do you require a deposit/retainer to secure my session date?
Yes. A non-refundable 30% retainer of your package is required to officially secure your date in my calendar. The retainer ensures I reserve that time just for you and do not accept any other bookings for the same date. The remaining balance is due before your session date or wedding day.
Do you provide RAW files?
No, I do not provide RAW files. Part of the service I offer is professional editing and retouching in my signature style, which transforms the RAW files into polished, high-resolution images that are ready for print and digital use. Delivering unedited files would be like giving you unfinished work. Instead, you’ll receive a curated collection of fully edited photographs that represent the best moments from your session or wedding day.
Do you backup and archive your images?
Yes, absolutely. Every RAW photo is backed up to local hard drives and cloud storage as well as the high-res images you receive for a period of time. Wedding and event galleries are archived for up to 3 years while portrait and corporate session files are typically stored for 1 year after delivery. I strongly encourage clients to download and back up their galleries on their own devices to ensure long-term access to their images, and I offer extended gallery storage and local storage of high-resolution images for a yearly fee. What do you love most about your job? I would have to say seeing people recognize themselves in their photos. The honest, unposed moments where they look at an image and say, ‘Wow! That feels like me.’ or when someone is feelings super uncomfy when they arrive for their shoot and they later email me and tell me that I completely put them at ease and LOVED their session. I also love the trust that clients give me to be part of their day, especially during a wedding or a family milestone. Being able to turn those moments into memories they can hold onto is the best part of what I do.
