Just because you are planning a small wedding, doesn't make the day feel any smaller. In fact, these intimate celebrations often carry the most meaning. Most of the couples I work with choose three to five hours of coverage, which usually includes the ceremony, portraits, family photos, and a bit of the reception. Every wedding is unique, and I’m here to help create a plan that fits what you’re envisioning. My role is to help you feel supported and at ease, so you can be fully present with the people who matter most. The result is you walking away with a gallery of beautiful images that reflect how the day truly felt, not just how it looked.

What to Expect When You Elope with Me

What to Expect: From First Message to Final Photos

You are planning something meaningful. Whether it is just the two of you or a small group of your closest people, you deserve a photography experience that feels thoughtful, calm, and completely focused on you.

Here is how the process works:

1. We Connect
Start by filling out my contact form and telling me a bit about your plans, including where and when you're getting married and anything else you would like to share. From there, we will schedule a quick call so I can learn more about your story and what matters most to you. After that, I will send over a custom quote tailored to your day.

2. We Make It Official
Once the quote feels right, I will send a contract and booking details. After everything is signed and the retainer is received, your date is officially reserved. You can relax knowing everything is in place.

3. Engagement Session (Optional)
This part is completely up to you, but many couples love having a chance to take some relaxed portraits before the wedding. We will meet at a spot that feels right, find great light, and create images that reflect your connection. These sessions help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera and give you a collection of natural images to use for save-the-dates or simply to keep.

4. Pre-Wedding Planning
As your date gets closer, I will send a short questionnaire to gather all the final details. From timing and locations to the small things you may not have thought of, we will cover everything. We will also schedule one last call to walk through the day together so that it all feels smooth and clear.

5. Your Wedding Day
This is where you get to simply be in it. You can focus on the people and the moments that matter most. I will take care of the rest. I will be there to document your story with care.

6. Sneak Peeks
Within 48 hours, I will send you a few favorite images so you can start to relive the day while the full gallery is being edited. Your complete collection will be ready within eight weeks.

7. Album Design (Optional)
If you choose to create an album, I will design a custom layout that tells your story from start to finish. It is a beautiful way to keep your images close and revisit your day again and again.

8. The Full Reveal
Once your gallery is ready, I will send everything to you in a private online collection. You can download, share, and enjoy the images wherever you are. If you have ordered an album, it will follow shortly after.

Marion O.

“Jessica was the photographer for my small wedding at home in November. I worried that having a small wedding (just officiant, parents and siblings) would mean the photographer would stand out in an awkward way during the ceremony, but there was absolutely nothing to fear there. Jessica was discreet and professional and captured our intimate ceremony with such care and understanding of our needs. She shared in our joy in a lovely way and it shone through in her photographs.”

Whether it's just the two of you at city hall or a cozy weekend gathering with your closest people, elopements are about intention, not the guest count.
